About Us

Maine Bass Fishing Guide Service Inc. is owned and operated by Capt. Mike Andreotti.  Capt. Mike is a Master Maine Guide and licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain.  Mike has been guiding clients on the water for nearly 30 years and possesses over 50 years of fishing experience.

Capt. Mike has been involved in wildlife conservation throughout much of his outdoor career.  He is an active member of the Maine Professional Guides Association, Bass Anglers Sportsman Society, National Rifle Association, and Ducks Unlimited. He also earned his college degree in the fields of Natural Resources Studies and Wildlife and Fisheries Biology.

Capt. Mike has been active in the Maine Bass Federation in the past and competed for many years as a bass tournament angler.  He co-founded the Rocky Hill Bass Anglers bass club and has organized several local youth fishing events.

Capt. Mike also runs our sister company, Thornehead Guide Service Co., which offers guided waterfowl hunts along the Maine Coast.  Mike remains very busy all year chasing fish and fowl with his clients around the beautiful State of Maine.
